Humber Business Week Event - EASYCare 25: a new world for older people

Did you know that Hull and East Yorkshire is home to an incredible international project that is transforming the care of older people?


EASYCare has at its heart a unique assessment tool that can be used across cultures and borders, and its launch as a social enterprise in Hull this August on its 25th anniversary will be attended by the world’s top thought leaders in the care of older people.


At this special business week event, Prof Ian Philp, CBE, Chief Medical Officer for Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals and former national ‘Tsar’ for older people, will outline his vision for a world with an engaged, independent and empowered older population. He will explain how EASYCare was internationalised and the opportunities for local businesses. A report from Uganda will also form part of the event, where EASYCare has now been embedded into national health policy.
