Final results of 2008 WTCA OnLine Survey are in

To better understand the views of WTCs about WTCA OnLine (wtca.org), we conducted a comprehensive survey by e-mail to all WTCA members September 19, 2008 - December 16, 2008.

Sirota Consulting, the firm that assists the WTCA with the Service Quality Certification process, was retained to conduct the survey to assure that all responses would be anonymous. The survey asked general questions about our Web site, including frequency of use and value of specific site features. WTCA members were also asked their opinions about the usefulness of some proposed site changes. You can view the final results of the survey by clicking here.

We concluded from the survey that the top two features of WTCA OnLine that WTCA Members would like us to improve are first, "ease of use" and second, inter-WTC communications platform. "Ease of use" is a Web design issue, and we are planning an extensive re-design over the next several months that should make our site easier to use.

On the communications side, survey respondents would like the WTCA to establish an improved platform for communication and collaboration among WTC offices -- with direct access to additional up-to-date information about all WTC offices. WTCA staff will be reviewing various options that may already be available in the software market to possibly replace our existing WTC E-mail Center with a platform that offers more features of interest to our community. As a starting point for Web site improvements, headquarters staff will call all WTC offices over the next few weeks to verify the accuracy of current WTC profiles within WTCA OnLine. In preparation for the calls, we will send all WTCs an e-mail with a link to their current contact and services information for review.
